Organizations, may join YETKİM as home organization and/or service provider signing YETKİM Federation Policy.
Home Organization: The organization with which an End User is affiliated. It is responsible for authenticating the End User and managing End Users’ digital identity data.
Service Provider: An organization that is responsible for offering the End User the service he or she desires to use.
YETKİM is operated under certain policy and all members should meet predefined technology requirements. Therefore Institutions who wants to join the federation should send signed Participation Agreement Form, which shows that YETKİM Federation Policy is accepted with all annexes. Institutions connected to ULAKNET and signed ULAKNET Usage Policy can join the federation as home organization. Other organizations may join the federation only as service provider.
